The Mountain House at Barn Village Amenities Building
One of the exceptional benefits of ownership at Barn Village will be the Mountain House, the on-site community amenities building. The Mountain House has been designed to complement the living experience of the Barn Village at Steamboat, conveniently providing owners with amenities and activities that contribute to quality of life. Situated in the heart of Barn Village, the Mountain House is a gathering place for residents to meet, recreate and socialize. With a large rock fireplace, wet bar, and flat screen television, the welcome lounge will be a place to meet neighbors, host a party, or watch a ball game. The fitness center and cardio room will feature state of the art exercise equipment for catching a workout without having to leave the neighborhood. The outdoor patio with heated swimming pool, hot tub, and gas grill is suited to all seasons, whether taking a soak after a day on the slopes, cooling off from the summer sun, or barbecuing with the family. Kids of all ages will enjoy spending time in the game room at the Mountain House where board games, video games, foosball, and movies will be among the activities. And, when the need for a place to work arises, the Mountain House will provide office capabilities, including wireless internet, fax, printing and copying in its business center.
Construction of the Mountain House will commence in the summer of 2008 and completion is expected in 2009. Renowned Steamboat architect Eric Smith Associates has been engaged to design the facilities. Construction will be managed by Mountain Property Development. Completion of the Mountain House is an integral component of the value and lifestyle at the Barn Village. To provide assurance of completion, Mountain Property Development will escrow funds in the amount of $20,000 out of the sale of each lot to be specifically earmarked for construction of the Mountain House. The Mountain House will be owned in perpetuity by the property owners of the Barn Village at Steamboat.
The features and amenities described above and the rendering on the next page are conceptual in nature and the Seller retains the right to make changes, subject to the contractual obligations of Seller in the Purchase Agreement.
