The Barn Village at Steamboat Takes Shape
Fifty-four lots, representing $36.2 million in real estate, sold out in less than 24 hours when the first ownership opportunities in the Barn Village at Steamboat were made available.
Despite panic in credit markets nationally, Chris Wittemyer of Prudential Steamboat Realty said Steamboat's real-estate market couldn't be in better health. The lots were reserved during two lotteries Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
"There was overwhelming support from agents at Prudential and it was incredibly well received by the entire Steamboat market," Wittemyer said. "It shows the Steamboat market is still a thriving real-estate market."
